Hi, I’m Karla Van Beveren!

Clinic Owner, Sport and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

MPT, BA Ex.Sci, Sport Diploma

I have spent years working as a sport physiotherapist in high performance sports settings, helping athletes compete on the highest international stage.

But I spent the first year of my postpartum journey not really knowing how to get back to sport. I tried a little of this and a little of that and I still wasn’t feeling myself.

I had taken all the sports physio courses and credentials. I've even been a part of medical teams at multiple World Championships and the Olympic Games and this postpartum time was a whole new world.

After seeing how pelvic health rehab influenced my return to sport, I was hooked. Now my physiotherapy practice is where the world of sports performance and injury management collides with pelvic health.

Having this unique angle can take your rehab to the next level. With performance goals in mind, each session is tailored to what you need to get you back in the game, rehab your injury and navigate the changes of life.

Jamieson Mumby

Orthopaedic and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Growing up as a competitive athlete I was no stranger to physiotherapy. However it wasn’t until completing my Master’s of Physical Therapy at Western University that I was introduce to the subspecialty of pelvic floor.

I developed a strong passion for pelvic health after witnessing its life changing affects that have been overlooked for far too long.

After graduation I pursued additional training in both pelvic health and orthopaedics with the ultimate goal of helping women maintain their freedom and activity throughout their lifetime!

With my experience assisting individuals dealing with both sport related injuries and pelvic floor dysfunction, I understand the sensitivity surrounding these matters. I want to assure you that you will be welcomed into a secure and judgment-free space where your needs are prioritized.

Let’s work together to get you back to the things you love!

“I started working with Karla shortly before becoming pregnant with twins, and I'm so glad I did! She helped me navigate the physical challenges of my difficult pregnancy, with a manageable exercise plan. I ended up having a c-section, and I credit Karla's guidance and support as the reason my recovery went so smoothly.”
