HerSport ACL Injury Prevention Program
Female athletes are 2-8 times more likely to suffer an ACL injury than their male peers.
Recovery from ACL injuries often include surgery, intensive rehabilitation and time away from an athlete's beloved sport for 12+ months.
So what can be done to help reduce the risk of ACL injuries?
Research supports that a robust ACL prevention program that addresses leg strength, optimal movement patterns, balance & control can help reduce the risk of ACL injury.
Our Program

➔8 week program for female athletes between ages 13-17
➔Weekly 60 min sessions run by a physiotherapist
➔Includes warm up, agility, movement patterning, strength session, education

Cost: $320 for entire 8 week program
*The cost may be submitted to benefits as physiotherapy services. A receipt will be provided for reimbursement if applicable.

What an athlete gains from our program:
➔Individual movement screen and strength testing for each athlete by a physiotherapist
➔Education on prevention strategies, warm up and cool down components, and fueling your body for sport
➔Targeted strength training for injury prevention

Who we are:
HerSport Physio is a team of physiotherapists who are trained and experienced working with female athletes of all ages including Olympic athletes and national level athletes from Soccer Canada, Hockey Canada, Rowing Canada and Cycling Canada.
BFITNESS offers 5,000 square feet of female-only gym space, supported by a team of sport and conditioning coaches.
